Warren County Utility District was formally incorporated as a municipal corporation by an Order of the County Executive of Warren County, Tennessee, on May 19, 1981.

Warren County Utility District was formally incorporated as a municipal corporation by an Order of the County Executive of Warren County, Tennessee, on May 19, 1981.  The District is empowered to conduct, operate, and maintain a system for furnishing water, water storage, and related facilities.

The Water Treatment Plant gets its source water from Collins River. It is designed to treat 4 million gallons per day. In 2024 the average daily flow pumped to customers was 1.9 MGD.

We have 6 water storage tanks 3 elevated and 3 ground storage tanks with a total storage of 6.1 million gallons.

The District is operated under the direction of (5) Board of Commissioners.

Warren County Utility District currently serves over 9,285 customers in several counties, which are:
Warren, Grundy, DeKalb, Van Buren, Cannon, and Sequatchie.

Warren County Utility District is a member of the Tennessee Association of Utility Districts and the American Waterworks Association.
